With a statistically minded technique, research psychologists discovered that individuals can be described by five personality traits (factors). These traits are extraversion, friendliness, emotional stability, orderliness and openness. In psychological literature, these factors are often described as extraversion (outgoing/energetic vs. solitary/reserved), agreeableness (friendly/compassionate vs. challenging/detached), neuroticism (sensitive/nervous vs. secure/confident), conscientiousness (efficient/organized vs. easy-going/careless) and openness (inventive/curious vs. consistent/cautious). Your choice will determine whether you complete the men’s or women’s version of the questionnaire.
